    Oh. My. God.
    A Friends reunion!?

The news broke last night that our six favourite chums will be
getting back together one last time.

    The buzz has been unreal.

Ever since the last episode aired in 2004, we’ve all been crying out for a reunion.

The internet just can’t handle it if the stars are spotted together.

But after years of false hopes and rumours, it seems it’s actually finally happening!

Well, we were – until we dug a little deeper.

We hate to be the bearers of bad news, but it doesn’t look like we’ll be finding out what happened to the gang any time soon.

Rather than being the two-hour long special episode that we all assumed it would be, in fact it’s a documentary celebrating TV director James Burrows’ career. Burrows has directed several episodes of Friends, along with eps of Will and Grace, Frasier, and The Big Bang Theory.

So we will see Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc and co, but only as themselves, commenting on Burrows and the show. However, even NBC chief Robert Greenblatt admits it’ll be hard to get them all together:

“I’m hoping all six will be in the same room at the same time,

[…] I’m not sure we can logistically pull it off.”

    Oh maaaan.

It might not be exactly what we wanted, but it’ll still be fun to see them (fingers crossed) all together. The show is scheduled to air 21st Feb this year.

When we last saw the pals leaving the big apartment for the last time, it seemed it was time for them to go off and be ‘proper adults’. Two of the couples had children, while Phoebe was married, and Joey was being… well just Joey. The babies, Emma, Jack and Erica were all under the age of two at this point. Meaning in 2016, Emma would be approaching 14-years-old!

Why did it have to end there? Surely there was plenty of opportunities for gags about parenting, especially as the kids got older. We’d already had a lot of laughs about pregnancy, giving birth, and rearing the little ones – think Ross and Rachel singing Baby Got Back…

We’d definitely like to see how the Gellar-Greens tackle a teenage Emma, and how the Bings are dealing with the twins. And if Joey is still…well Joey.

All we can do for now is dream about a brand-spanking-new episode. Surely we won’t have to wait another 12 years?!

There is a palpable sense of confusion and now anger. There is no coordinated efforts from the council to organise people or the thousands of donations coming in. It's chaotic. . . The community have taken the lead and are providing all the support and assistance. Police are stopping people without wristbands in certain areas. . Information is slow in coming through and families affected are starting to question what's going on. "17 dead, come on!" The media aren't reporting a lot of what has and is happening, like the Muslim boys returning home from Ramadan prayers who pushed past the police to get people out. . kids talking about where their friends are, and there are a very concerning number of kids missing from classrooms. A mother told us yesterday that it "simply doesn't make sense". . Our PM has announced a Public Inquiry, when in fact it's an INQUEST that is needed. The former is government lead and the latter gives a voice to the victims. . These people have been let down BEFORE, DURING and now AFTER this horrific incident. Is it because they're poor? It seems as though this is very much a class and race issue? Is it a tipping point? I hope so. . . #grenfelltowerfire #realheroes #glenfelltower #communitylove #change #togetherwecanmakeadifference #forthemanynotthefew #londonfire #londoner #london4all #thisislondon #londonist #speakout #justiceforall #latimerroad #northkensington #communityspirit #seektruth #equalityforall #inquestnotinquiry #endausterity #peopleoverprofit
